About Us
About Our Company

Our Mission
At Kidisthenics, our core program begins with personalized one-on-one training sessions designed to calm the body, organize thought processes, and enhance the brain and nervous system's functioning. Through tailored movement programs, we alleviate anxiety, boost self-confidence, and release stress-relieving endorphins, all while meeting the unique needs of each individual.
Our specialists approach all behaviors as forms of communication, fostering a deeper understanding and connection with our clients. By blending physical activity with cognitive exercises, we help clients build a sense of self-worth, independence, and confidence, empowering them to thrive in everyday life.
Our Story
Founded in 2018 by behavioral specialist Arlene Lopez Martinez, Kidisthenics emerged in response to the lack of fitness resources for individuals with developmental disabilities. While working in traditional settings, Arlene saw that many clients needed an outlet for stress and excess energy to fully engage in their learning and behavioral goals. What started as a push to modernize support has grown into a comprehensive program building strength, emotional regulation, confidence, and independence for individuals of all abilities across California.
Philosophy
At Kidisthenics, we believe movement has the power to build confidence, resilience, and independence through a purposeful, science-backed approach. Rooted in inclusivity, adaptability, and a genuine respect for each individual, our team brings empathy and a people-first mindset to every session. We pride ourselves on never turning a client away – meeting each person where they are and helping them thrive physically, emotionally, and socially.
